  • Recurring or repeat revenue – subscriptions, maintenance contracts, service agreements

  • High customer retention – clients stay for many years and depend on the product or service

  • Slow-moving markets – not fashion, hype, or heavy reinvention every year

  • Simple teams – small, focused staff rather than large headcounts

  • Owner-operated – founders who may be ready for succession, retirement, or a new chapter

Typical financial profile (flexible):

  • Revenue: roughly $300k – $3m

  • Operating profit (EBITDA): $100k – $1m
